Mohit Goel

Founder & Director

Before setting up Vedic Cosmeceuticals in 2003, Mohit worked as an investment banker after acquiring an MBA in Finance. Over the last two decades, Mohit has dedicated himself to managing and growing the company, with a focus on optimizing manufacturing operations. He brings with him a deep understanding of private label manufacturing in the cosmeceuticals & beauty care industry, which has been an invaluable asset to Vedic’s journey.

Sandhya Sakhuja

Director

With an MBA from the University Of Liverpool, Sandhya has some 20 years of experience across various sectors. She has spent 15 years in skin care and retail, including an 8-year stint at FabIndia – contributing majorly to its Body Care Division. In 2012, Sandhya co-partnered with Mohit and has since led Business Development and Product Development at Vedic. She is an all-rounder with in-depth knowledge of the beauty care industry.

Aakash Lalwani

Head of Research & Development

With over a decade’s experience at R&D brands like Bayer Material Science, Dabur India and The Himalaya Drug Company, Aakash is an inspiration for our R&D department. During his time at The Himalaya Drug Company, he was conferred the “Technology of the Year” Award for the “Development of Anti-Dandruff Shampoo using Natural Anti-Dandruff Agent”. He has also been a member of the Bureau of Indian Standards’ Cosmetics Sectional Committee since Feb 2019. Aakash has a master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry from IIT-BHU, Varanasi.

Nirmit Gupta

Financial Controller

With close to two decades of experience in different manufacturing industries, Nirmit’s expertise ranges from heading finance functions and managing corporate and regional accounting to warehouse management. He has previously worked with Q-Qlass Advisors, Eon Electric, Assa Abloy, Action Ispat & Power Pvt Ltd and Carrefour. Nirmit is adept at determining financial objectives in line with compliances, mapping business requirements and implementing internal control systems to achieve cost control.

Hirendra Kumar

Head of Factory Administration

Hirendra has over 28 years of experience in the FMCG and food industries and cosmetics manufacturing. He’s an expert in handling factory operations, setting up new factories/plants and managing a large workforce. He has proven his mettle in purchases, procurements and minimizing costs. Having worked in close liaison with various government departments, Hirendra is well-versed in statutory compliances, industry standards and certifications. He is known for his versatility in a manufacturing environment.

Shiv Om

Head of Quality

With an MSc in Microbiology, Shiv has spent 16+ years in Quality Assurance and Control of cosmetics in India and Africa. He specialises in the preparation and updation of SOPs, manuals and protocols. Vedic’s pillar of strength for the last seven years, he is always on top of the Calibration, Validation and Implementation of GMP, GLP and 5S, and ensures that the RM/PM/BULK/FG are analysed on time as per defined specifications. In May 2012, Shiv was approved as an analytical chemist in Chemical, Instrumentation and Microbiology by Himachal Pradesh FDA.

Nidhi Chaturvedi

Head HR & Admin

Nidhi is an HR Professional with more than 16 years of experience across varied industries such as Infra, Power & Energy, Executive Search, Manufacturing, Consulting, Hotel & Travel. Post her MBA in HR & Finance, she has been associated with leading Executive Search and Consulting companies. With a track of progressive experience, she is a confident and multi-faceted HR operations person, and has worked on development and implementation of HR Policies, Employee Communications, Employer Engagement & Brand Building as Employer of Choice, Capacity Building Programs, Reward and Recognition Programs, Analytics, etc. She has been a key contributor in building coaching mechanisms to identify right capabilities resulting in alignment with macro business objectives

Vikas Sahay

Head Planning & Supply Chain

Vikas has joined Vedic as Head of SCM, and has come onboard with 33 years of experience in leading supply chain operations with a proven track record in training and mentoring cross-functional teams, driving greater efficiencies and engagement. Vikas has worked with brands like Fab India, Norwest Industries, Li & Fung, etc. He is proficient with languages like French, Spanish, German and loves to keep himself engaged with projects of academic interest.

DR Sugata Bhattacharyya

Head PPIC & Operations

Sugata is a seasoned Manufacturing Operations professional with 24 years of experience that reflects progressive success in achieving Production Operations and Strategic Planning objectives in the Cosmetics & Pharma Industry. Innately wired for strategic & tactical thinking, Sugata has formulated & executed strategic plans and drove initiatives to realize bottom line results, realign, acquisition policies in the pursuit of objectives of leading organization and enhance client relations to create an amicable & transparent environment. Sugata comes on board with Extensive exposure to multi-cultural environments, strategic initiatives and industry dynamism. Sugata is a forward thinking person with an exceptional track record, and Industrial skills like Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Transmission, Master Six Axis, Statistical Process Control and TPM. He comes armed with a Ph.D
(Science) from University College of Science & Technology, University of Calcutta.

Head Marketing & Communication

Sumit is a professional with 20+ years of diverse experience in Brand & Marketing challenges in different verticals – Technology / ITES, Real Estate, Marketing Services, Hospitality, Retail & Entertainment, Renewable energy. Over the past few years he has worked on Tech enables services such as e-commerce, Fin-tech, Online Learning, Micro Insurance, ISP, Internet Security, and much more. He has extensive exposure in execution and leadership roles in large number of successful launches and Brand campaigns during productive tenures in various leading organisations in India and across various countries in SE Asia and Middle East. Sumit specializes in Brand strategy, 360 degrees marketing process transformation, Digital Marketing innovations, Creation and operations of optimized sales and marketing engines, Business strategy and implementation, International Sales & Marketing of Real Estate projects across India, Complete Marketing function, Brand strategy & management, Corporate Communications & Public affairs, Business strategy. Sumit Ghosh has been ranked among India’s Top Professional Leaders in Real Estate for 3 consecutive years.
